A contemporary brand for bags and accessories, Tann-ed has joined hands with Akshay Tyagi, a celebrity stylist to create a collection of bags that bridges the gap between extremities of the gender, creating a fluidity that 'Meets Halfway'. This collaboration will be available to order on their website this May.

Akshay, best known for having styled the likes of Rani, Hrithik Roshan, Tara Sutaria, and more, is a Bollywood costume designer whose design inputs and consultancy have played a pivotal role in Tann-ed's new collection.

Tann-ed is the brainchild of Rakshit Singh, Konpal Batra, and Ritika Gupta, three designers united by their love for creating the perfect blend between the classic and the modern. With the doors of its boutique studio open in Noida, Tann-ed produces bespoke designs that are loved locally as well as internationally.

Aptly named TxT Beyond Gender, this collaboration opens the door to conversations that move across rigid gender norms, smudging the linearity of the concept, with bags designed for all. Akshay Tyagi, a senior stylist, has worked on more than 20 feature films during his career, which has gotten him featured in publications such as Vogue, Filmfare, Casa Vogue, and others. Constantly pushing the boundaries of fashion between the reel and real world, Akshay brings his experience and knowledge of the fashion world, as well as functionality of accessories, to the Tann-ed table.

Blending Akshay’s expertise with signature Tann-ed elements, the TxT Beyond Gender Collection brings to life a plethora of colours across neoprene with leather to better reflect styles that move away from extreme gender sides to a more fluid middle ground. The classic Tann-ed elements such as the zippers, stitch lines, and contrast edge details stay prominent throughout the collection.
